2023 Deakin Christmas Giving Tree

For many years, our community has shown the best spirit of the Christmas season by donating to the Deakin Christmas Giving Tree and supporting locals in need.

This year the Deakin Christmas Giving Tree will provide much-needed support to vulnerable members of our community through the Eastern Emergency Relief Network, whose emergency relief programs have been serving our local area since 1995.

I am again asking local residents, community organisations and businesses to support the Christmas Giving Tree by donating vouchers and non-perishable food items, including Christmas puddings and cakes, as well as essentials such as new clothing, blankets and toiletries.

Donations can be dropped off at my office in Mitcham, Bendigo Bank in Croydon and Bendigo Bank in Ringwood East until Thursday, 21 December.
