I recently joined representatives from the Heatherdale Cricket Club and Heathmont Jets Junior Football Club, along with Councillor Prue Cutts to check out the progress of the new Heatherdale Pavilion.

The roof is on, and the brickwork is underway. The function space is much larger, and the overall facilities for both players and spectators is going to be magnificent.

As an important community asset, I’m pleased to have played a small part by kick-starting the project with a $2 million grant from the former federal government.
