Scores light up in Ainslie Park

Michael Sukkar, Federal Member for Deakin, officially opened the new scoreboard at Ainslie Park in East Ringwood over the weekend.

Mr Sukkar addressed spectators at the East Ringwood Junior Football Club’s Coaches Award Night and joined officials from the Maroondah City Council and Ainslie Park Cricket Club to officially open the scoreboard.

“It was fantastic to be able to see the score clearly during the match,” he said.

“I’m proud to be a part of the continued improvement of our local parks and grounds.” “I look forward to continuing to help secure better facilities for more local sports clubs and community groups”

The Coalition Government provided $20,000 through its Stronger Communities Programme to assist with the purchase of the scoreboard.
