Support Small Business Day

As part of Victoria’s Support Small Business Day, Michael Sukkar headed to Mitcham Newsagency this morning to help out behind the counter.

Support Small Business Day is dedicated to encouraging Victorians to explore their local community and spend in-store at local small businesses.

Michael said it was a fantastic celebration of the big difference that small businesses make to local communities.

“Small businesses, such as the Mitcham Newsagency, play an incredibly important role in our community,” he said.

“It is vital that we all continue to support them buy shopping local so that we strengthen the local economy, creating local jobs and stronger neighbourhoods.”
